Let's not talk about autumn

OK, so autumn is really close, although we have had a great September (Nina even went for a dip in the sea a few weeks ago) we have to admit that summer is over, it is getting darker and colder. After a quite wet summer I’m not really ready for the dark part of the year yet...but what can you do.

I guess the best way to cope with this is to blog about summer, right! So here we go...

The last really nice and hot summer day:

After a day at the beach we went home and had dinner and coffee outside, nice.

Oliver's parents arrived a few days earlier to help us with Nina for five weeks...I went to work every day, but it felt like holiday (dinner ready every day, house cleaned, fantastic)!

Nina helped me bake some muffins for her last day in daycare, but she ended up eating half of them at home, he, he!

You can tell who usually is behind the camera in our family, because Nina considers the camera to be mine, and since Nina needs things to be right I have to do the filming.

Anyway, Nina got a Rugby ball from Ireland, and she loves a game of rugby with dad :-)

Nina is not too good with slides, especially the big ones. Therefore, we decided to buy a tiny slide for Nina to have in our garden to boost her confidence, and it really helped. Now she jumps down the big ones too.

Nina figured that since daddy was cutting the grass outside, she wanted to help him...inside (it's too noisy outside).

That was the last of my pics from July (Oliver has got some more from his parents, but that will come another day). I hope my next post will be with some drawings of our house, because they are (finally) about to be ready!

Yay! Nina plays the lawnmower, make muffins, play on slides, I can just imagine how cute she looks. Too bad winter is just around the corner for you guys. We're busy starting spring at this part of the world, Eden Gardens is the regular haunt for the Mother's Group now.

Do you know? 6 of us are now having second babies. Michelle just gave birth to Finn. Sienny's next in December. Rachael's in March. When's it your turn, Heidy? After the Phd's & hosue is done? Heehee!!

Cheers, Evelyn

Hey Evelyn. I'll let you know when we're having a new bub, so you can tell it to everyone ;-)

And maybe, just maybe I'll tag along with Oliver when he goes to Sydney in Feb/March...we'll see.
